We have a local hero in our town and I wish to nominate him for a reward.

  During the icy underfoot conditions at the end of December, I and many others were obliged to walk on the roadway as a result of the pavements being untreated. I'm still obliged to walk on the roadway, but for a different reason - dog fouling!
