DETECTIVES are hunting a man who held up two security guards at knife point and made off with a five-figure sum of cash.

Around 10.50pm last Wednesday the guards were carrying out cash from the Clydesdale Bank in Main Street, Kilwinning when they were threatened by a man brandishing a knife.

Police have issued a description of the man and would ask anyone with any information to contact them.
