MAN OVERBOARD IS STILL MISSING
RESCUE teams twice launched a search effort in twenty four hours to search for a man believed missing overboard a yacht off Arran last week.
The man has been missing for seven days and he was last seen at the Harbour at lunchtime on Wednesday 18.
During Wednesday afternoon Clyde Coastguard tasked Coastguard Rescue Teams from Tarbert, Carradale and Arran, Rescue Helicopter 177, Arran and Campbeltown Lifeboats to search for the man after the yacht 'Cena' was found adrift and abandoned midway between Skipness Point and The Cock of Arran by the fishing vessel Scotia Star.
