ARDROSSAN could be home to a new petrol station after supermarket giant ASDA lodged a planning application with North Ayrshire Council's Planning Department - just days after they withdrew a proposal for similar plans.

The company reduced the size of their development after a consultation response regarding the designs revealed the initial plans would reduce the number of car parking spaces to an unacceptable amount and result in potential for queuing vehicles.
