Stagecoach Super League First Division ARDROSSAN WINTON ROVERS 1 WHITLETTS VICTORIA 0

WINTON returned to action for the first time in six weeks and for their first game since manager Derek Frye quit and showed few signs of rustiness as they rang in the 2012 with an excellent win.

They showed a lot of character and fitness to grind out a win against a good Vics side in blustery conditions on a heavy pitch.

This game saw both Stewart Wilson and Billy Gilmour on from the start. It is a tribute to all the hard work put in by Pat Cawley, Peter Conway and the others that this game was on.
