ON a day when we celebrated Dickens' bicentenary Killie's Great Expectations of climbing back into the top Six were dashed in frost bound Fife.

A sixth draw from 12 games on the road on Tuesday ensured the League Cup finalistss are a point behind sixth-placed Aberdeen. However to realise their ambition of emulating last season's achievement of a place in the top half of the table they must start taking chances and display more clinical finishing.
