Accies' narrow victory
RBS Premier Three: ARDROSSAN ACCIES 20 DALZIEL !7
ACCIES came out top in this hard-fought and often heated encounter.
The home side had a good chance in the fifth minute when Rovert Hunter used his pace to break from his own half, the ball went to Kiwi flanker Anthony Flint who carried for 20 metres before being tackled two metres short from the line, the referee decided that he did not release the tackle allowing Dalxiel to clear through a penalty kick to touch. Accies were again penalised twice within the space of two minutes and from the second of those Dalziel's No 10 put his side in front by three points.
